Proximma Sports and MCI Sport have entered into a collaboration agreement with Celta to enhance the Celta360 facilities. Both organizations will work closely together on this project, combining their expertise in sports marketing, commercial development, and the international organization of matches, tours, and pre-season training camps.
As part of this partnership, Proximma Sports and MCI Sport will be responsible for attracting professional football teams to hold their training camps at Celta360. This initiative will help establish Vigo and its metropolitan area as a leading destination for the preparation of national and international clubs and national teams, while creating a new revenue stream for the club.
The collaboration will enable professional teams to regularly use the Celta360 facilities for training camps and preparation during specific periods of the year, taking advantage of a world-class sports complex. The agreement also reinforces RC Celta’s strategy of strengthening the development and international profile of its sporting and business ecosystem.
The partnership was officially announced with a commemorative photograph featuring Jaime Casas, CEO of Proximma Sports; Pierre Mévy, CEO of MCI Sport; Fernando Iturbe, Head of Business Development at Celta360; Carlos Cao, Celta’s Director of Infrastructure and Institutional Relations; and Miguel Álvarez, member of the club’s Board of Directors. Prior to the signing, representatives from Proximma Sports and MCI Sport visited Afouteza Sports City, where they were shown the progress of the future Celta360 ecosystem, a project set to become one of the leading hubs for economic and sporting development in Galicia and northern Portugal.
