Celta and the Los Sauces Educational Institution have renewed the collaboration agreement that both entities have maintained since 2013 for the schooling of the club’s youth academy players.
This new signing brings significant developments, as the institution will manage the international school that will provide education for the residents in the Academy programs of Celta360 — a facility that will be located at the new Cidade Deportiva Afouteza and will serve as a key pillar for the personal and athletic growth of young players.
The signing ceremony was attended by Celta’s president, Marián Mouriño, who sees this agreement as an opportunity to “grow together. We’re always delighted to collaborate with Los Sauces, but this time even more so, given that we are working on a more ambitious project like Celta360, through which we will jointly provide young people with high-quality education — both academically and in terms of values.” Also present was José Antonio Rois, general director of Los Sauces, who, in addition to expressing his pride in the renewal, emphasized that the collaboration with the club dates back to 2013: “Over the years, we’ve seen how Celta has been able to link the values of sport with education, maintaining high standards in both areas.” Luis A. Yáñez, CBRE’s Director of Business Development Sports and a key driver of the agreement, also attended, along with various representatives of the Educational Institution.
Thanks to this agreement, young Celta players in training will continue to have access to a quality education, while the new residence will be in expert hands — reinforcing a partnership that, after more than a decade, remains strong and constantly evolving.
