Celta360 Project Arrives in Japan with New A Canteira Experience Clinics

Celta continues to strengthen the international reach of its youth development methodology with a new initiative in Japan. From 19 to 30 July, two Celta 360 coaches, Víctor González and Diego García Sarabia, will travel to the Asian country to deliver a series of A Canteira Experience Clinics in collaboration with Wakatake Group, bringing the identity and working methodology of the Vigo-based club to young Japanese footballers.

During their stay, the coaches will lead three training clinics in different cities across Japan. The first will take place in Chiba on 21 and 22 July, with 34 players taking part. The programme will then move to Aichi from 23 to 25 July, where 19 participants will train. The tour will conclude in Osaka on 26 and 27 July, with 27 registered players.

In total, nearly 80 young footballers will take part in these Clinics, designed to provide a training experience based on Celta’s renowned academy methodology. Throughout the sessions, the coaches will share the club’s core training principles, focusing not only on technical and tactical development but also on the holistic growth of each player.

This initiative is part of Celta 360’s commitment to bringing the club’s youth development model to new international markets, building partnerships with organisations around the world and creating opportunities for players from different countries to experience the philosophy of Celta’s academy first-hand.

Through initiatives like this, the A Canteira Experience programme continues to strengthen its international presence and reinforces its commitment to sharing a development model that goes beyond the pitch, placing the growth of both the individual and the footballer at the heart of its project.
