The Celta360 facilities hosted an international youth match between Celta and Juventus, played on the afternoon before the two clubs faced each other in the UEFA Europa League. The match brought together Juventus players from the 2010 age group and a specially assembled Celta team featuring players from the 2009 and 2010 age groups of its academy, providing another example of the Celta360 ecosystem’s ability to host international sporting experiences.

One of the highlights of the match was the participation of three players from A Canteira Experience, the Tanzanian Joseph Jr. and the two Japanese players, Khota and Sho, who are currently part of the young footballers’ development programme thanks to the collaboration with Wakatake Group. This three players were selected by Celta’s academy coaching staff to join the team facing Juventus, an opportunity that highlights their progress and allows them to experience competitive football first-hand alongside players from Celta’s youth development structure.

Their participation reflects one of the main objectives of A Canteira Experience: to provide young international footballers with an environment in which they can develop, improve and showcase their talent. Being selected for matches of this kind represents a significant step in their experience in Vigo and demonstrates how their daily work can open up new sporting opportunities within the Celta environment.

The match, which ended in a 2-0 victory for Celta, once again highlighted Celta360’s potential as a venue equipped to welcome international clubs and deliver high-value sporting experiences. This combination of facilities, training and opportunities connects the international reach of the Celta360 ecosystem with the development of young talent from around the world.
