Celta is taking another step forward in its internationalization strategy with the launch of the A Canteira Experience Showcase, an initiative designed to identify, evaluate, and develop young footballers from around the world under the club’s official methodology. To bring this project to life, the club has entered into a partnership with Panda Events 4 Sports, whose expertise in international promotion and talent recruitment will support the initiative.
As part of the A Canteira Experience program, the Showcase will offer participants the opportunity to train for four days in Celta’s professional environment, experience the club’s development model firsthand, and be evaluated by the club’s sporting department. The first edition will take place from 3 to 6 August 2026 and will be open to female players in the U12 to U23 age groups and male players in the U15 to U23 age groups, with a strong international focus.
The program will be held primarily at A Madroa, Celta’s training facilities, and will include five training sessions, player assessments, educational workshops, final matches, and visits to some of the club’s most iconic locations, including Abanca Balaídos, A Sede, Afouteza Sports City, and the ongoing development of the Celta360 complex. Altogether, participants will enjoy an immersive experience based on the methodology and values that define Celta’s renowned academy.
With this initiative, the club continues to invest in the identification and development of international talent, further establishing A Canteira Experience as one of the cornerstones of its global growth strategy and a new way of bringing Celta’s academy methodology to promising young footballers from around the world.
