Celta continues to make progress in the development of Celta360, the strategic project that will define the club’s growth in the coming years. Construction of the first two buildings is already at a significant stage, with foundations exceeding 30% completion and structural work beginning to rise.
The roadmap establishes that these initial infrastructures — the mixed-use building and the Celta building — together with the training fields and the future mini-stadium, will be available during the summer of 2027. This milestone will allow in-person academic activity to begin in line with the start of the 2027/28 academic year. Subsequently, other actions included in the overall plan will be addressed, such as the residence and the international school, while development of the hotel area will take place in a final phase scheduled between late 2027 and early 2028.
The mixed-use building will concentrate the educational and services hub of the complex. It will host the initial university offering, planned with five degree programs, as well as the expansion of the healthcare area linked to the Celta Clinic, spaces dedicated to innovation, and a nursery school incorporated into the project. It will also include a basement and an exhibition area intended to preserve and display materials recovered during the archaeological interventions carried out on the site.
For its part, the Celta building will have a mainly sporting focus. This facility will bring together the changing rooms for youth categories, the international academy, the club’s new offices, and a dining area. In parallel, work continues on the complex’s single underground level, and earthmoving is approaching completion. In addition, the location of the future mini-stadium has already been identified; its foundations are scheduled for next summer, and it will host matches for Celta Fortuna and As Celtas.
